Ok - totally random, but I love this ad!
I think it's a great example of people too....
It can work either way - you think you know a person and POOF - shock shock horror horror they stab you where it hurts (the heart!).. SOUR
Or you're not sure about someone - they seem to have a mean-ish streak to them - then you get to know them and aaaawwwww - so SWEET!
Why can't we just be one or the other?!
Why can't our nice words be produced by our actions and then backed up with consistency?
This would make knowing someone, friendships, relationships and marriages etc... just that bit easier!
We could actually Trust better.
We could understand one another.
We could at least expect something coming! Instead of NO signs! none!!
Which in tern allows the other one to prepare and at least approach situations with caution and a shield or sword!
So - a note to all you luke warm, in the middle, indecisive or even scared people -
Don't be a SOUR PATCH PERSON! Don't be Sour or Patchy!
Be Sweet - reliable - trustworthy - backing your words with their appropriate actions!
Sweet Patch People always produce just something lovely!!

So long farewell auf weidersehen good bye!
Well my lovely Charlestonians it is time to say a few things before my time here comes to an end :(
Wow! Where to begin?!
Well way back in 2004 I came to Charleston and fell in love! With all of you and the beautiful place that it is!
I have been so blessed to be welcomed into an amazing community of people and through out the years of coming back and forth having it expand to a ridiculous amount of fabulous brilliant people!!
Finally on April 1st 2008 I got a visa to live and work in the USOFA - so i ran to Charleston to be with me friendsies!
I've lived in West Ashley, Mount Pleasant, the Old Village, James island and Sullivan's island! And have loved them all!!
I've met the most amazing diverse people and I want you all to know how flipping gorgeous you all are to me! Men included!
I have made some life long friends here and i will always count Charleston as my home away from home.
I would love to stay and build my life here but unfortunately me visa does not allow it and i can't fight the system any more :(
BUT please please come and visit me when I move to London!
I loved the Sullivan's days with the bike rides, tennis games, beach days galore, golf cart rides, double hammock days and the use of our house as a beach access! Loved it!
I really and truly love Charleston, the sea, the boat days, yuengling at poes, poes burgers, hot summer days sans mosquitos skipping work to kiss the sun, home team margaritas....
And yes i know I've had my fair share of moaning and being a puss but seriously looking back at my life and time here over the years through it all I adore you Charleston and all the life long memories and joy that comes with thinking of the past few years!
I'm getting all emotional now :(
And i need help finalizing my flights back to Ireland - this is the 1st time in 4 years that I will be buying a one way ticket :( and I am terrified!
Usually change is such an exciting thing - I'm all for it - no hesitations -
I'm hesitating.
But i have to believe and trust that this is the right thing to do!
I'll be able to live in London and try the fashion scene for a while - get it off my chest and then move on!!
And it's all for you fabulous people! If I weren't going to be there you'd have no-body to visit in London! ;)
I have 2 months left here - and I want to go out with a BANG!
Nights out on Sullivan's island/Bike rides/Boat days/plenty of drinking and sun kissing days are a MUST!
Who's in?!!!
To Charleston
with Love

Today I began an exciting - very random and totally bizarre journey with Avon!!
Yes! Avon the thing with the makeup...
But - although I have no idea what I am going to do with this new ability to represent this company and sell their products, what i did discover was that I am very easily influenced!
And I want everything in this dang catalogue!
So i advise you to take a look at my Avon website - soon to come...
And buy something! Because I did the math and it is cheaper and better than anything you'll get in cvs or anywhere else you buy your bare essentials!
Because with Avon - apparently their tomorrow wants to get a move on today - and I think that tomorrow should stay at tomorrow so i can sell some stuff today!!
Right - back to the catalogue!

The Sweetest thing is sitting on my bedroom floor drinking a steaming cup of Irish tea, while the standing fan swirls a cooling breeze onto my face.
As i sit here, magazines sprawled across the floor in front of me, i remember this house and how it has been a dreamy visiting spot for many over the past few years.
There have been many ladies come and go from this place as they move on to a new stage in life or perhaps feeling they must get back to reality soon!
For now i will stay blissfully unaware that there maybe a need for a reality check in the future for the:....wow i lived there! But i shall live in the joys of the soft white sand between my toes and the shinny sunny heat that tinkles into my window every morning
Tomorrow morning i will wake up with my roommate Christin and we shall take a walk along the beach, starting at station 17.
It's always a mystery and a joy to walk along the beach and discover what the sea has decided to leave behind after a long night.
I must not take any of this for granted.
Here i am on a 3 year visa from Ireland.
I work part time with the Children's ministry in St. Andrews church, where i help lead worship and teach grades 1st-4th, with an amazing team of leaders and volunteers!
During the other half of my time I split it between looking after children and my other passion.....discovering Fashions cre
ative expressions and inspiring romantic originality....art!I studied Fashion Buying and Merchandising in Dublin, followed by Fashion Styling and Image Consulting.
I have recently become an intern for an image consultant here in Charleston - Mackenzie Image Consulting, i love it!
I'm truly discovering my passions lie in the innovative construction of Fashion and everything it entails.
